Beccles, Suffolk | 12-Month Fixed Term Contract | Up to £35,000 per annum

Position 1 Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Plant Business Support Coordinator to join our client, a respected producer of a unique product, at their Suffolk site.

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)

The Role

Working closely with the Plant Director and wider site teams, you will provide high-level administrative and business support across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative and executive support to the Plant Director
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly management reports
  • Maintaining confidential records and important site documentation
  • Coordinating meetings, events, customer visits and training
  • Maintaining SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Performance) reporting
  • Managing site communications, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Supporting employee travel, vehicle administration and travel bookings through NAVAN
  • Maintaining annual leave and sickness records
  • Supporting employee awards and engagement surveys
  • Managing stationery, merchandise and site administration requirements
  • Supporting Health & Safety and People teams
  • Updating and developing Excel-based business reporting
  • Providing administration support across internal business systems
  • Identifying opportunities to improve and standardise processes
  • Supporting the introduction of new systems for KPIs, SQDCP and NAV
  • Acting as a point of contact for charity, school, business and community enquiries
  • Handling sensitive business and employee information with complete confidentiality

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised, conscientious and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experienced in handling confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to use initiative
  • Confident in challenging existing processes and identifying improvements
  • Customer-focused with a strong commitment to delivering high standards
  • A strong communicator and collaborative team player
