Position 1 Recruitment is working with a successful agricultural machinery business to recruit an experienced Agricultural Service Engineer to join their team, working on the full range of HORSCH LEEB crop protection and spraying machinery.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced agricultural engineer who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, fault finding and customer interaction, and wants to develop their career with a leading global agricultural brand.

🔧 The Role

As a HORSCH Sprayer Service Engineer, you will:

  • Service, repair and maintain HORSCH LEEB sprayers and crop protection machinery.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
  • Use laptop-based diagnostic systems alongside hands-on engineering skills.
  • Attend customer sites across Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
  • Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in manufacturer training and career development.
  • Work overtime and participate in standby/on-call arrangements during peak periods.

 

Ideally, you’ll have experience with:

  • Agricultural machinery.
  • Sprayers, cropcare or crop protection equipment.
  • Tillage machinery.
  • Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding.
  • Electronic/laptop-based diagnostics.
