Service Engineer

Service Engineer – Permanent – Midlands

Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join a well-established, family-run manufacturing company. With over 50 years of success, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated and thriving team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, repair and maintain the machinery at customers premises
• Installing and commissioning equipment
• Confident dealing with set up issues, both mechanical and electrical
• Able to identify issues and raise this to the relevant person
• Build and service machinery
• Take part in the emergency call out rota (1 weekend per month)

Qualifications:

• Recognised engineering qualification (Mechanical and/or Electrical)

Position Details:

• Permanent, full-time role / 37 hours per week
• Overtime available: 1.5x pay after 37 hours, and 2x pay on Sundays
• 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
• Participation in staff events
• Company van and fuel provided for business and private use
• Daily expenses allowance
• Competitive salary of £19 – £20 per hour
