Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 per annum
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Position 1 Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Product Compliance Officer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Norwich.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in product compliance and certification to play a key role within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities of Product Compliance Officer
- Manage and maintain third-party product certifications and accreditations
- Lead certification processes for new products, including testing and compliance activities43, 350K32
- Act as the internal expert for UKCA/CE marking, Building Regulations, and industry standards
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess the impact on the business
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and product records
- Carry out internal inspections and supplier audits
- Identify compliance risks and ensure corrective actions are implemented
About You
- Previous experience in product compliance, certification, or regulatory roles within engineering or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of UKCA/CE marking, BS/EN/ISO standards, and Building Regulations
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Engineering or construction qualification (HND/HNC or degree preferred)
- Knowledge of ERP/PLM systems and project management tools
- PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification would be advantageous
Additional Information
Working hours are Monday to Friday; however, flexibility will be required for occasional UK travel and overnight stays when necessary.
