Position 1 Recruitment is seeking a Logistics & Distribution Coordinator to join our client’s well-maintained site, offering excellent long-term career development opportunities.

Permanent | Full-time | 9:00am – 5:00pm

Logistics & Distribution Coordinator will support the Distribution Manager in coordinating worldwide product distribution, ensuring cost-effective shipment planning and efficient delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support transport and distribution processes to ensure efficient product delivery
  • Plan and arrange cost-effective shipments in line with customer requirements
  • Prepare compliant shipping documentation in accordance with regulations
  • Promote and maintain a zero-harm / safe working environment
  • Advise Sales on transport solutions and obtain competitive quotes
  • Work closely with Packing to ensure efficient and appropriate shipment methods
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments regarding order despatch
  • Maintain accurate and timely system updates

You will need

  • Logistics experience
  • Administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Understanding of logistics coordination processes
