Position 1 Recruitment are proud to be working with a forward-thinking engineering company who are currently looking to recruit a motivated and detail-focused Build Technician to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, test, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical systems for both current and future wellbore inspection tools
  • Produce and maintain accurate documentation for build, testing, and repair procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across products, systems, and manufacturing processes
  • Assist R&D Engineers with prototype builds and development activities
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of tool locations and operational status
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) while contributing to ongoing quality improvements

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality standards
  • Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous
