Quantity Surveyor

Position 1 Recruitment are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team. You’ll take ownership of cost control, financial planning, and commercial management across a range of specialist fabrication and installation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cost control, budgeting & financial forecasting
  • Support and advise on commercial strategy & project delivery
  • Review commercial plans to maximise profit margins
  • Oversee monthly commercial audits
  • Manage subcontractor processes & compliance
  • Produce cost-to-complete forecasts, valuations & cash flow reporting
  • Prepare and submit Applications for Payment (AFP) on time
  • Issue supplier & subcontractor payment certifications
  • Handle variations, change control & cost reporting
  • Ensure full compliance with company commercial procedures
  • Deliver final accounts to maximise project margin

You will have:

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Knowledge of cost management, contracts & procurement
  • Knowledge of JCT Contracts (Traditional & Design & Build) & NEC Contracts
