Mechanical Assembler – Full Training Provided

Salary: £12.21 + Overtime (Working week 39 hours)

Working pattern:
Full time, permanent position 07:30 – 16:30 Monday- Thursday and 07:30-12:30 on a Friday.

Position 1 Recruitment is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler on behalf of our client, a reputable and well-established engineering manufacturing company based in Watton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks to ensure components are correctly fitted and function as required.
  • Conduct hydrotesting to verify the integrity and performance of the assemblies.
  • Prepare heating elements for installation, ensuring they meet required specifications.
  • Prepare materials for production, including masking and demasking of painted items as required.
  • Clean and prepare finished products to meet quality standards before delivery.
  • Take on additional duties as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business.

Mechanical Assembler – Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly tasks.
  • Ability to work with a variety of mechanical components and systems.
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Proactive and flexible in taking on a range of duties.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team to meet production goals.
